CEDRA SYSTEMS
Privacy Policy
This draft explains personal-information handling for the CEDRA SYSTEMS website and correspondence. Applications, connected products and engineering services may require their own privacy notices.
1. Scope
This notice concerns cedra-systems.com, its www address and communications with CEDRA SYSTEMS. The website presents our projects and services and provides contact links.
A product description on this website does not mean that the website collects that product's device, vehicle or application data. A product-specific notice should explain any additional processing before it begins.
2. Responsible Operator
Michael Kadouzian operates this website personally under the CEDRA SYSTEMS name and is responsible for the personal-information handling described in this notice.

3. Website Delivery, Security and Performance
CEDRA SYSTEMS uses Cloudflare to deliver and protect this website. Handling website requests involves technical information such as IP addresses, request and network information, and browser information needed for delivery and security.
Cloudflare may run browser security checks and use security cookies to distinguish legitimate visitors from automated abuse. The checks and cookies a visitor encounters can depend on the security features and circumstances of the visit.
A Cloudflare performance-measurement script is included on the website. Cloudflare describes its Web Analytics measurement as operating without cookies or localStorage. Performance measurement and security checks are separate functions; a cookieless measurement service does not mean the website's security services never use cookies.
See our Cookies and Similar Technologies notice for more information about these technologies and browser controls.
4. Information You Send Us
If you contact us, we use the contact details, message content and attachments you provide to respond to your inquiry, arrange requested work or provide related support. Correspondence is handled through Cloudflare email routing and Google's Gmail service.
Providing information in an inquiry is voluntary. Without enough contact or project information, we may be unable to respond or provide the assistance requested. Please do not send passwords, payment-card details, identity documents or other information that is unnecessary for your request.
Vehicle, device, diagnostic or project information is relevant only when you choose to provide it for a specific inquiry or service. Additional collection through an application or connected product must be described in that product's notice.
5. Purposes and Recipients
Information covered by this notice is used to:
- Deliver the website, understand its performance and maintain its reliability.
- Protect the website against abuse, unauthorized access and security incidents.
- Respond to voluntary inquiries and provide requested engineering or support work.
- Meet applicable legal obligations and protect legal rights where necessary.
Hosting, security, performance-measurement and email providers process information as needed for their services. Cloudflare's and Google's own privacy notices also describe processing they undertake for their respective services. Not all provider processing is necessarily carried out solely on CEDRA SYSTEMS instructions.
We may disclose relevant information when required by applicable law or necessary to address a legal claim. CEDRA SYSTEMS does not sell personal information as part of its business model.
The website includes links to external services, including social and messaging platforms. Following those links takes you to services governed by their own privacy practices.
6. Processing Locations
Our service providers operate international infrastructure. Website and correspondence information may therefore be processed outside Lebanon. Processing locations and provider handling depend on the service and configuration involved.
For provider information, see Cloudflare's Privacy Policy and Google's Privacy Policy.
7. Retention
Our approved retention schedule distinguishes routine correspondence from records needed for ongoing services or legal obligations:
- Inquiries that do not become projects: 12 months after the last contact.
- Routine support correspondence: 24 months after the matter closes, or until the associated warranty or agreed support period ends if later.
- Diagnostic files and customer uploads: delete when their purpose is complete and they are no longer needed for the requested service, subject to the specific record-preservation needs below.
- Contracts, invoices and essential project evidence: retained separately for applicable legal, accounting, contractual and claim-related requirements. The routine correspondence periods above do not set their deletion dates.
Relevant records may need to be preserved while a dispute, legal claim or required investigation remains unresolved. Retention must be limited to the information needed for that purpose. You may contact us about the period applicable to your records.
Technical information held by infrastructure providers is also subject to the relevant service's settings and retention practices. A single deletion period does not apply to every category of website or correspondence information.
You may contact us about the retention or deletion of information relating to you. Any applicable legal requirement to retain information will be considered when handling the request.
8. Your Privacy Rights
Subject to Lebanese Law No. 81/2018 and its applicable conditions and exceptions, individuals may:
- Ask whether personal information concerning them is processed and request access.
- Request information about the purposes and nature of processing and relevant recipients.
- Request correction, completion or updating of inaccurate, incomplete, ambiguous or outdated information.
- Request deletion where the legal conditions for deletion are met.
- Object on legitimate grounds where the law permits such an objection.
Michael Kadouzian personally handles privacy requests sent to contact@cedra-systems.com. Describe the request and provide enough information for us to locate the relevant records.
We may request proportionate information to verify your identity and prevent unauthorized disclosure. Please do not send identity documents unless specifically requested and necessary. Requests and any required notification of corrections to recipients will be handled in accordance with applicable Lebanese legal requirements and time limits.
9. Security
The website uses encrypted HTTPS delivery and Cloudflare security services. Security controls help protect information, but no internet service or storage system can guarantee complete security.
If you believe information sent to CEDRA SYSTEMS has been exposed or misused, contact us with the details needed to investigate, avoiding unnecessary sensitive information.
10. Applications, Products and Children
Applications, connected products and engineering services may process information differently from this website. Before using such a service, consult its product-specific notice for permissions, device or vehicle data, diagnostics, accounts, payments, recipients and retention practices. This website notice does not establish that any of those features are currently active.
This general company website is not designed specifically for children. We do not ask children to submit personal information. If a child has sent unnecessary personal information, contact us so that appropriate action can be considered under applicable law.
11. Changes to This Notice
This notice may be updated as services, infrastructure, data practices or legal requirements change. An approved policy will display its effective date. Material changes will be communicated where required by applicable law.
